With the industry becoming
more "DIY" – Do it Yourself friendly, the concept of DJs United was formed by various Midwest DJ Coalitions
and Record Pools in the region to support the future of the industry. Retail is dwindling, Downloads are up, and sales are
not a robust as before, the artists must create and maintain a relationship with those who have direct contact with consumers
and fans… The DJ.
Be it internet, radio, club, mixtape or event DJs, every artists and professional MUST learn to support and build a quality and beneficial relationship with the DJ. DJs United intends to create an environment where artists and DJs can mingle, network and experience each others energies and talents to create outlets for both the artists and the DJ.

PLAIN TRUTH ENT SHOWCASE is March 30, 2012 @ recoup lounge club NYC. Artists,producers and models wanted. $1,500 PRIZE for 1st place winner. The prize is a production and single deal release through Plain Truth Ent .Including 6 hrs of recording ($300) Mixing ($800) Mastering ($150) Email blasts and EPK ($250). One runner up artist will receive 3 hrs of studio time ($210).
$200 cash prizes for models, 1st place winner $100 , 2 runner ups $50 each. The Judges will be from a record label, a known producer and a known artist.
Each artist will perform 3-5 songs (12 min max).
Each artist will pay $200 for this performance and net working event. Each artist will receive 10 tickets that they could sell for $20 or $10 or less (reduced price for their closest friends and fans.)
Plain truth Ent will be printing flyers and posters with all the artists pictures on them. Plain truth Ent will pay for the Judges and promotional marketing etc...
